Akdong Musician Signs With YG Entertainment
Kpop Star Season 2 winners Akdong Musician has officially signed onto YG Entertainment. The reason why it took longer to sign the winners of Kpop Star Season 2 was because the duo are minors. Therefore, their parents must be apart of the negotiations but their parents are currently living in Mongolia. Although it took a while for this contract to be created, Mr. YG is more than ecstatic to have this unique duo signed onto his label.
Akdong Musician consist of siblings Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Soo Hyun. Lee Chan Hyuk is 16 and Lee Soo Hyun is 14 years old. They lived in Mongolia with their parents (their parents are currently their on missions) for two years before moving back to South Korea to pursue their dreams of becoming musicians. The siblings are home schooled and they joined Proteurment, a company that helps amateur singers develop their skills and in August 2012 they audition for Kpop Star Season 2, ultimately claiming the number 1 spot. Se7en Opens New YeolBong Branches in Japan
As many of you are aware of, talented R&B singer Se7en, has a chain restaurant in which he owns in South Korea. His restaurant is called “Yeolbong” which is a combination of his name and his long time girlfriend, Park Han Byul’s name.
He currently has about 10 branches opened in South Korea and today marks the grand opening of his new branch. On October 15 and 16, Se7en’s new branch is not in Korea, but Japan. He opened two new restaurant successfully in Japan. Interest in Se7en’s restaurant was tremendous, over 500 customers visited Se7en’s restaurants in Osaka and Tokyo on the first day only.
Even before the launching of the Osaka and Tokyo branches, Se7en’s restaurants in Korea gained a lot of popularity as well as interest from Japanese visitors. Many Japanese visitors made sure they visited Se7en’s restaurant before heading back home.
Also, there is talk that Se7en might even open a branch in China as well!

Tablo’s Controversy Still Not Over?
On October 10, 7 members of the Tajinyo cafe were found guilty and were sentenced to jail minus one defendant who was given a lesser punishment. The justice department dismissed the appeals saying, “The motives were foul and the methods shallow. The victim is still willing to severely punish [the accused].” Seeing that these members were punished a lot of people believed that this ordeal that lasted 3 years have finally come to an end, but the truth is- it hasn’t.
