“A Werewolf Boy” Screening in the US

Have you ever wanted to go watch a Korean movie on the big screen in your home town? Well here is the chance for a lucky few! The film: A Werewolf Boy is going to be playing in the US. A Werewolf Boy is a film directed and created by Jo Sung Hee. It stars flower boy actor Song Joong ki and beautiful actress Park Bo young. The film has been gaining a lot of attention. Despite the release of the international film Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the film was still able to remain at No.1 in the box office and No. 1 in advance sales even though the film was release 3 weeks prior to Twilight. The film has also been gaining a lot of attention in North America at the film festivals such as: Toronto International FIlm Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, and Hawaii International Film Festival.

Anderson Le of HIFF says, “One of the best Korean films of the year!” and Giovanni Fulvi describes the film as “An affecting melodrama of youthful longing and lost innocence.” Continue reading →

Park Jungmin “Beautiful” Teaser

Park Jungmin, a member of SS501, recently released a teaser for his solo comeback. This teaser is for his song titled “Beautiful.” The song seems a little different from Jungmin’s solo debut song. “Beautiful” seems as though it will be an upbeat song but not much can be figured out from the short teaser clip.

Block B is planning on making their comeback onto the Korean music scene this month as well (1017). For the past couple of days the members of Block B have been releasing individual teasers.
