Epik High “Don’t Hate Me” MV Released

After a three years ups and down of hiatus the talented group, Epik High, is making their comeback with their 7th album titled “99.”  At the beginning of this week YG artists have been releasing photos with a sign stating “Don’t Hate Me,” which gained a lot of attention.

Today, on October 19, Epik High released their album digitally as well as their music video for their song “Don’t Hate Me.”  This song  is a mixture of acoustic and rock.  The music video also depicts a playful side of Epik High that all of Epik High fan’s know they have. Kollaboration Star 2012 – The FInale

Kollaboration is proud to announce that its newly added show, “Kollaboration Star 2012  – The Finale” will be taking place on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the beautiful Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA. As the capstone to their annual talent competition series, which finds the best local talent in 12 cities throughout the United States, this grand finale show will give this year’s winners an even bigger opportunity to showcase their talents. In addition, Mnet, a youth entertainment brand for all things Asian cool and the only national, English-language lifestyle television network in the U.S. for fans of Asian pop culture, followed Kollaboration to the 12 local competitions and filmed the shows and their winners for an original new TV series. From these 12 Kollaboration winners across the nation, 6 finalists will be selected by a public online poll and 1 finalist will be chosen by Mnet to represent their cities in this ultimate showdown to declare themselves the best of the best. The grand prize winner will win $2000 and a trip to Hong Kong, China to attend the acclaimed Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

Celebrating 12 years of fulfilling its mission of “Empowerment through Entertainment,” Kollaboration has partnered with Mnet to produce a spectacular event that will truly highlight the incredible growth and development of not only the Kollaboration movement, but also the Asian Pacific Islander American/Canadian (APIA/C) presence in the entertainment industry as a whole. JustKiddingFilms “Why Parents Criticize”

A lot of people have been asking Bart and Jo “Why do their parents always criticize them?” and so Bart and Jo decided to make a video to answer this.

In this video Jo gives an explanation of why he believes parents are always criticizing their children. Tessa “Rebel” Music Video Full

Tessa is an up and coming Asian American artist. She spent 3 years on the road pursuing music in the indie genre. She then moved to Los Angeles to follow her music dreams. She made her debut  into the Pop world with her self-written EP which featured her title track “Captive.”

She recently released her second music video titled “Rebel” off of her Rebel EP. In the music video Tessa and her gang of Rebels are preparing themselves for a dance battle against their rival gang. Dante Basco (Hook, Avatar: The Last Airbender) makes a cameo appearance as the leader of Teesa’s rival gang.  Continue reading

Lovequakes Turns One

Today Lovequakes turns 1! One year ago three friends decided to create a website in which they could blog about the celebrities they like. We did not know how this was going to turn out but decided to try running our own website. After a years’ span we have accomplished a lot and we still have much more to accomplish. Justkiddingfilms “Crazy Asian Parents”

Justkiddingfilms is back again with their newest video “Crazy Asian Parents.” In this video Bart and Jo uses the something a lot of us can relate to [parents who force or strongly insist their children to pick a career in which the child does not want to do] and put a twist in it. Typical Asian parents want their children to become doctors and other things along the lines of white collar jobs. Most Asian parents disapprove of any hobbies that does not relate back to getting a better education. Justkiddingfilms then parody this, and instead of being a doctor who saves lives, the father wants his son to be a doctor like dr. dre. Check out the video for yourself.  Continue reading

LOS ANGELES, CA –  Kollaboration, the largest showcase for Asian Pacific Islander (API) talent in North America, will wrap up the 2011 series of nationwide shows with its eleventh annual show on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live. Home to events such as the Emmys, the MTV Video Music Awards, as well as the past 4 American Idol finales, the 7,100-seat NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE will be the biggest venue to ever hold a Kollaboration production, making it the perfect stage to showcase the talent of the eight finalist competitors of the flagship Kollaboration show.
